I give your song my full attention and send you a mix to react to. We refine it together until it feels exactly right. 4 rounds of revisions included.

Once you've signed off, I master the final mix and deliver every file you need, ready for streaming and release.

- A channel is any audio track in your session. Doubles, harmonies, and each drum mic count individually.
- Extra revision rounds: £30 each. Rush delivery: +£100 (timescale dependent).
- Extras (instrumental, TV and alt mixes, stem mastering): from £40.

Hi, I'm Ben.
I fell in love with mixing because I wanted my own records to feel like the ones I admired, which quickly turned into a passion for helping other artists achieve the sound they envisioned.
Today I'm a top 5% mixing engineer worldwide (Muso.ai verified), and records I've worked on have been played on BBC Radio 1 and Capital.
My philosophy is simple: a mix isn't finished when the meters look right. It's finished when it makes you feel something.
The stat I'm most proud of isn't a ranking. It's the number of artists who come back.

What genres do you work with?
Mostly country, pop, soul/RnB and singer-songwriter. Got something different? Just ask.
Can you work with me remotely?
Yes. I work with artists online, wherever you are. We talk by video call and everything else happens over email and file transfer.
What happens on the call?
I'll have listened to your song beforehand, so we talk it through: how you want it to feel, how I'd approach it and what it would cost. If it feels right, we start. If not, no hard feelings.
How long does it take?
Most songs take 5-7 working days from the day we start.
How many revisions do I get?
4 rounds of revisions are included, so you can be certain it's right.
What do you need from me?
Your individual track exports (stems) and a rough reference version of the song. After our call I'll send you a simple checklist.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit to start, and the balance before the final files are delivered.

Who I am
Leftmind Music Ltd ("I", "me") runs leftmindmusic.com and is responsible for your personal data. Contact: contact@leftmindmusic.com.
What I collect
When you send a request through the form: your name, email address, song title, a link to your song, genre, release date and any message you write. If you email me directly, I keep that correspondence.
Why I use it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call and, if you go ahead, deliver the work. This is based on taking steps at your request before a contract, and on my legitimate interest in running my business.
Who sees it
Only me, plus the services I use to run the site, forms and email (hosting, form and email providers). If you accept advertising cookies, Meta also receives the information described under Cookies and analytics. I don't sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how I use it, by emailing me. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and analytics
This site uses the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms) to measure whether my adverts lead to enquiries and to help show them to relevant people. It sets cookies and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you view, whether you submit an enquiry, and basic device and browser details.
